Editorial & Correction Policy

What we publish, who reviews it, and how corrections work.

Every page here exists to answer one real question. We do not publish pages to fill a keyword list, we do not change dates without changing content, and we correct mistakes in public.

What we publish

A page gets published when it passes all six of these:

  1. It answers a specific task a person actually has, in plain language.
  2. It answers that task without needing another search.
  3. It contributes something original – the calculator, a diagram, a worked example, a comparison or a documented method – not a restatement of what already exists.
  4. It states sizing variability wherever variability changes the answer.
  5. Every factual chart traces to a source or to our documented methodology.
  6. It does not compete with an existing page for the same intent.

The honest test we apply: would this page still be worth publishing if search engines did not exist?

Who writes and who reviews

Content is written and maintained by the site’s editorial team. Sizing methodology, measurement instructions and fit guidance are open to review by qualified or demonstrably experienced bra fitters. A reviewer is named only after completing a review, with their relevant experience and review date described accurately.

We will not invent credentials, imply medical qualifications we do not have, or use a reviewer’s name on pages they did not review. Expert fitters who wish to review our fitting guidelines are invited to contact us.

Sources

  • Brand sizing claims cite the brand’s own current chart, with the date accessed.
  • We do not scrape retailer size charts. Charts are read and recorded by a person.
  • Where a claim is our own observation rather than a published fact, we label it as ours.
  • We maintain an internal source register recording the URL, publisher, access date, applicable sizing system, the reviewer’s decision and any resulting method-version change.

Dates

Published, updated and reviewed dates mean what they say. We do not refresh a date to look current. An “updated” date changes only when the content substantively changed; a “reviewed” date changes only when a reviewer actually re-read the page against current sources.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want to know and we will fix it.

  1. Tell us what is wrong, with the page and, where possible, the source that contradicts it.
  2. We acknowledge factual reports within five business days.
  3. Clear factual errors are corrected as soon as they are verified.
  4. Where a correction changes the meaning of a page, we add a dated correction note at the foot of that page rather than silently editing it.
  5. Where a correction changes the calculator, the method version changes and the change is recorded on the methodology page.

Commercial independence

No advertiser, affiliate or brand has any input into our sizing guidance, our charts or our calculator. Advertising is placed around the content, never inside the answer, and never between you and your result. Where a commercial relationship affects a link, it is disclosed next to that link – see the affiliate disclosure.

Language

We write about bodies plainly and without judgement. We use “starting size” and “estimate”, not “perfect size”. We do not describe any size, shape or fit issue as abnormal, and we do not assume the gender of the person reading. If we get this wrong somewhere, that is also a correction we want to receive.
